Welcome to our guide on how to pay your Mr Price account using Capitec App. Mr Price is a popular retail store that offers a wide range of clothing, homeware, and sportswear products. If you have a Mr Price account and you bank with Capitec, you can easily pay your account through the Capitec App. In this guide, we will take you through the steps you need to follow to make your payments through the app.
Step 1: Download and Log in to the Capitec App
The first step towards paying your Mr. Price Account is to download the Capitec App if you haven't already. You can download the app on Google Play Store for Android or Apple Store for iOS. Once you have downloaded the app, log in to your account using your security credentials.
Step 2: Click on 'Payments' tab
Once you are logged in to the Capitec App, click on the 'payments' tab on the app's menu options.
Step 3: Select 'New Beneficiary'
On the payments page, click on 'new beneficiary'. This option will allow you to add Mr Price as a recipient so that you can pay your account through the app anytime.
Step 4: Select 'New Retail Account'
Once you have clicked on 'new beneficiary', select the option for a 'new retail account' since Mr Price is classified under a retail account.
Step 5: Fill in Beneficiary details
On the next page, fill in the Mr Price account details including Name: Mr Price, Account Number and Branch Code: 39317. Include your reference number which is your account number with your name initials.
Step 6: Save the Beneficiary to your list
After you have filled in the beneficiary details, click on 'save beneficiary' to add Mr Price account details on the app’s database. You will receive a message that Mr Price has been added as a recipient for your Capitec App.
Step 7: Make your Payment
To make your payment, go back to the payments tab, click on 'pay' and choose Mr Price from the list of beneficiaries. Enter the amount you wish to pay for your account, and select the account you would like to pay from (if you have multiple accounts). Confirm that all the details are correct before proceeding to make the payment.
Note:
If the payment is unsuccessful, try checking your internet connection, amounts charged against your account, and your Capitec App permissions. Your App status should not be inactive or locked accounts since it may cause errors while processing the payment.
