How To Download Proof Of Payment From Capitec App

Welcome to my blog where I will guide you on how to download proof of payment from Capitec app.

Step 1: Download Capitec App

The first thing you need to do is download the Capitec App from your App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, log in to your app using your secret Remote PIN or Remote Banking PIN.

Step 2: Navigate to Transaction History

On the navigation bar, click on the ‘Transact’ option to reveal a sub-menu which will display ‘Transaction History’. Click on Transaction History and select the payment you would like to download proof of payment for.

Step 3: Download Proof Of Payment

Click on the payment you want to download, then click on ‘Options’ and a dropdown menu will appear. On this dropdown menu, select ‘Download Proof Of Payment’. The proof of payment will then be automatically downloaded to your device in PDF format.

Note:

If you do not have the ‘Download Proof of Payment’ option on the dropdown menu, you need to ensure that you are logged in with a secret Remote PIN or Remote Banking PIN. If you still do not see the ‘Download Proof of Payment’ option, you need to visit your nearest Capitec branch or call the Capitec Contact Centre on 0860 10 20 43 for assistance.

Step 4: Save Proof of Payment

Once downloaded, save the proof of payment in a place where it will be easily accessible for your record keeping. A PDF viewer app on your device will be required to view and print the document.

Step 5: Share Proof of Payment

If you need to share your proof of payment, simply click on the ‘Share’ button and a dropdown menu will appear. On the menu, select the method you want to use to share the proof of payment, such as email, WhatsApp or any other social media platform installed on your device.

Note:

If you do not see the ‘Share’ button on your screen, you need to download the Capitec App’s latest version from your App Store or Google Play Store.

With these simple steps, downloading proof of payment from your Capitec App is easy and quick. Keeping an electronic copy of your proof of payment ensures that you have all the necessary documents at your fingertips whenever you need them.
